Ashkan Moradifirouzabadi

Ashkan Moradifirouzabadi received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran in February 2021. He mainly studied Digital and Analog Electronic Circuits during his undergraduate. He is currently pursuing his studies toward Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering at University of California, San Diego, starting in January 2022. His research interest includes In-memory Computing and ML Accelerator Design.

Chang Eun (Paul) Song

Chang Eun (Paul) Song received B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from Korea University, Seoul, South Korea, in Feb 2022. During his undergraduate, he conducted Digital & Analog circuit design research. He is currently working towards Ph.D. degree at the University of California, San Diego in Computer Science & Engineering. His current research interest includes ML Accelerator, neuromorphic, large language model and in-memory computing.

Zihan Xia

Zihan Xia received the B.Eng. degree in Communication Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2021. He joined University of California, San Diego, ECE department with a Dean's fellowship, and is pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering program. His current research interests include digital and mixed-signal low-power learning systems.

Tianyu (Jet) Zhao

Tianyu (Jet) Zhao received his B.Eng. degree in Microelectronics Science and Engineering from Wuhan University, China, in July 2023 graduating with a top rank in his program. He also studied in Havard in 2022 as a visiting undergraduate student. He is pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. His current research interest includes algoriothm-hardware co-design for energy-efficient ML systems.

Keming Fan

Keming Fan received her B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from ShanghaiTech University, China, in June 2022. She also studied at University of California, Berkeley in 2022 as a visiting student. She is currently working toward Ph.D. degree in ECE department at University of California, San Diego. Her current research interest includes hardware-software co-design, mixed-signal circuit design and in-memory computing.

Priyansh Bhatnagar

Priyansh received his B.Eng. degree in Engineering Physics (Major in Electronics) from Delhi Technological University (DTU) in India in 2022. He subsequently enrolled in the Master’s program in Machine Learning and Data Science at the University of California, San Diego. During his master's, Priyansh developed a keen interest in resource-efficient machine learning through various research opportunities with VVIP Lab, Duarte Lab, and the Qualcomm Institute. Consequently, he transitioned to the Ph.D. program in Machine Learning and Data Science in 2024. His current research interests include acceleration of large language models, systems for machine learning, and hardware-software co-design.

Seong-Jae Ha

Seong Jae Ha received a B.S. degree with magna cum laude in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul, South Korea, in February 2024. During his undergraduate, he mainly studied and conducted research of Digital and Analog circuit design. He is curently pursuing his studies toward Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of California, San Diego, starting in September 2024. His research interest includes analog based in-memory computing.

Sung Eun Kim

Sung Eun received B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from Korea University, Seoul, South Korea in Feb 2019. After graduation, she worked at a memory semiconductor company in South Korea for five and a half years as a NAND flash digital circuit engineer. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. Her current research interests are ML accelerator and in-memory computing.

Yun-Chia (Toby) Yu

Yun-Chia (Toby) Yu received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University in June 2023. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. He is honored with the 2024 UC San Diego J. Yang Scholarship. His current research interest includes algorithm-hardware co-design for machine learning acceleration.

Sunglim Han

Sunglim Han received the B.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Ajou University, Suwon, South Korea, in February 2022, and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea, in February 2024. She joined University of California, San Diego, ECE department with a Dean's fellowship, and is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree. She received 2024 ISCAS BioCAS track best paper award. Her research interests include integrated circuit (IC) design for in-memory computing, ML accelerators, and large language models.
